Freeview+ box, but TV already got built in freeview?

As title, our TV has built in freeview. Can I get a freeview plus box and if so would it just work instead of my current freeview?! had a look round google but can find the answer as I cant explain the question very well lol. :confused1:

Ahhhh cool, cheers matey :thumbup1:

as above yes it will work no probs, if your tv is hd too get a freeview hd+ box :D

Baz,

(assuming you get your TV via Belmont) Digital switchover starts from 3rd August for your area. Subsequently Freeview HD starts from then as well. The Waltham transmitter starts from 17th August.

Current channels are...BBC HD, BBC1 HD ITV1 HD and 4HD, but I've read that there will be more coming soon, so fingers crossed.

It was banded about some months ago that channel One was going altogether (in fact it's on here somewhere) along with Bravo (which I think has already gone now)

There is so much speculation out there, mostly by people who haven't got a clue, but try to make out they have ;) (a bit like on here sometimes  ) I keep an eye on the Digital Spy Freesat forum just to see if anything changes

Yep bravo has kicked the bucket :/

I hope channel one does not go the same route to be honest i liked them both! i have sky hd in one room but just sky digi in the other so was thinking of freeview hd for there...but gonna wait to see how many are in hd first :)

Just checked up, and Channel One goes at the end of this month (31st), to be replaced, on Freeview, by Challenge (1st Feb).

darn thats not good but thanks for checking mate, i have challenge on sky but dont watch it that much anymore, knightmare was cool though when shown!

On the plus side, Sky 3 should be getting some of the stuff that Channel One shows/ed, and, maybe, along with some bravo shows!
