Hi guys sorry another wheel thread.

I've been waiting for my wheels since June and now they say they are in stock...but now I can't remember the offsets I wanted.

Pton are useless and have lost the info.

I was going to have to do some light arch work I'm sure the sizes were.

Front ET25 9.5 245/40/18 Back ET35 265/35/18.

Does that sound about right? I'm sure its similar to j1mmytt spec but I can't use the search menu using my mobile.

Cheers dan

sorry, meant the wheel size, you've said 9.5 front, are you going for the same at the rear?

You should be able to go up to a 285/30 with a slight roll to the arch lip.

Really :) so the widths and offsets are fine. Wasn't sure if 245/40/18 on the front is to much? If I stuck with 275/35 on the rear I should be ok or still need to some arch work

I reckon you could skip the arch work on the rear if you use a 275/35

Fronts I'm not so sure about, I've run 265's without issue on a 9", and currently running 265's on a 10.5 but that still catches despite being rolled. You could always go with a 235 first time round and see how it goes.

Yea I think ill go with the safe bet for now with the fronts then :) hopefully will be fine.

Thanks for your help jaffa ill order them now.

JFYI

mine are 9.5j all round et18 {2mm spacer) front and et20 rear, 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear BUT i have federal tyres on and trust me when i say this, they come out VERY BIG compared to normal tyres, i would say the 255 is more like a 275, as where the falken 255 was stretched the fedral is completely flush with the wheel. I had to flare the rear arches and ended up respraying the rear 1/4's due to cracked paint, whoops.

OH hi btw havent been here for a while.

Hi jimmy do you think I will get away with a 245 instead if a 235 as ordered on the front? I've ordered toyo t1r tyres.

Cheers

you'll want 235/40 on the front otherwise it'll have a tiny profile and be seriously stretched.

Hi Jaffa,

I said this at the time of ordering but the company said this is what they would offer if anyone came to the company with the wheels ive ordered.

I dont want it seriously stretched... This company are a nightmare ive had nothing but aggro with them. But i went with what they said as thats thier job.

well just a bit to help

my wheels are 17 x 9j et 20 front (inc 20mm spacer) i will be running a 225/45 r 17 eagle f1, 17 x 10j et 22 rear (inc 20mm spacer) i will be running a 265/40 r17.

rear tyres will need replacing and i may go to a 255/45

not fitted yet but a trial run without tyres shows aok.

wow yeah that front tyre is gunna be seriously thin and quite stretched should have gone for 40 profile as jaffa said, even the federals i have on the front are stretched and they are seriously chunky in ways of side wall thickness and width, they do come out really big.

Sizes are right but I pesonaly think the yokos will be too soft and you will be replaceing them quite often, pesonaly I would have F1s. l

Get some pics of your federals on here james... You replaced your r888s with them or are these on your ultralites?

federals on the ultralites joely. cars a mess id rather not take any pics right now lol. ahhh maybe il take some during the week.
