jap dampers

am i right in thinking that the dampers on jap cars are the same as the ones on uk cars?, its just that im after some new ones, dont want to buy 300zx shox then find they dont fit.

    The jap ones are normal damping units.

    The uk ones have an electronic actuator-opperated off the h/brake sensor. To switch from cruse to sport mode.

    Even Nissan in MK diddn't know this untill i took the dampers in for replacememt!!!

    Found to be a huge differance in handling etc, between uk & jap rear shocks.

    Get the right ones!
