January 31, 200224 yr Looking thru' the demon tweeks catalogue at replacement boost guages - can I just t in to where the stock boost guage 't's in - is there a better place? and how do the mechanical devices compare in terms of accuracy to electronic ones. Thanks Mark MCZX
January 31, 200224 yr Mark, you can T into where the feed goes to the stock guages sender (inner wing, drivers side - matchbox sized black box), perfectly good place to use. Mechanical guages can be very accurate, but of course you can never read them to the same accuracy as you can a digital (like the SPA guages) guage.. As for how accurate they are compared to the BlitZ guage for example - accurate enough that the biggest innacuracy will come from you reading the guage Of course digital ones (BlitZ analogue face or SPA digital face for example) have things like peak hold/recall so you can see the most you boosted..
January 31, 200224 yr Arron thanks for the advice, just wanted to make sure. You helped with some advice on braided hoses- just wanted to say thanks - with the help of Andy Duff the hoses were used to great affect - curing fuel leak and brightening up the engine bay. See your is now running - relief must not have come close. Cheers Mark
