Right, just got her off the axle stands, backed her on the drive, left her running whilst I swept out the garage, and for some reason, the alarm has locked me out, with the engine running, and not much fuel. My spare key is also inside the car, can anyone give me any tips how to unlock her from the outside??? email is : bobtudor@hotmail.com or if you can, 07958 334139! Many thanks!!!

Great help for tudor there but not the best knowledge for a public thread could i our yourself e-mail this information to tudor so it can be removed from here?

Many thanks

I have deleted the post not that it was not helpful as it was just what tudor needed... but as mikey points out its just what people also need to get in to a Z as long as tudor is ok now and does need the info it will stay deleted for safety.... but please tudor if you do need that extra info let me know and i will send it to you via e-mail

heheheh !!- glad you survived the ordeal tho, cos I've seen similar done many atime...(and now you know rule N#1.)

it was a very helpfull tip to get in to the zed while still fully locked but i just thought it was not the best idea to leave it in the public bit of the forum, all the best ;)

All sorted now, many thanks to eveyone, especially to gruntpa64 for the rapid phone call and advice, i did try to make this thread an email or phone call only jobby, god knows why it locked itself for the first time ever in 3 and a half years, but it did! Top draw you guys, taa very much!!! Merry Christmas to all.... :)

I've actually worried about this happening to me, as the Toad locks the doors after starting the engine. Look out for this same urgent query from me in a few months time! :)

Well I know now, never to leave my spare keys in the car in future!!! She's been in the garage on axel stands for a couple of months, stuck a gallon of petrol in her, drove her out, swept up the garage, went back to drive her in, and yes, you got it, all locked up! Engine running, headlights on main beam, rear heated screen on, heater on full, petrol soon ran out, haha... Sorted now tho, spare keys now in a safe place (as opposed to being in the centre console thingy), no damage done, so happy days really, would of been quite fun if my little cherabs weren't about to drop off from frostbite! Thanks again peeps.... :)

I have no prob with the deletion although to be honest I think ur average scum bag would not waste that much time as he is about to do a load more damage to ur ignition so my way of no damage entry would be furthest from his/her mind
