can u help? I have cut off the outer sill and found that the inner sill with the round holes in is rottern at the bottom about 1 inch and is flopping about. I just wondered if i can weld this up without buying the complete section. Or do i just buy a new one? Saving the pennys. Has anyone dun this before and can help. If so please let me know. Cheers

Just cut some sheet metal to shape and weld it in.

New/replacement parts are available but not cheap.

Yeah,cut some steel and weld it in.Cheaper than a repair piece if your on a budget.Alternativley,try filling it with wire wool and bodyfiller,like what i found in a Transit campervan sill i was getting ready to respray recently lol(even the wire wool was rotten!)

ya seen thread mate but he has put new inner sill on. I want to know if u can get away with replacing it? Patching it up?

This is what i,ve had to do to mine , although i bought the replacement panels you could make sections for patching quite easily it.s just mine needed a bit more than patching ! lol :hammer:

If any one else wants them before they disappear into the never regions of teh shed again. Ones a little shorter than the other. 480mm long and the other 570mm long.
