mines dropped a little since its been cold, round town about 17-18 mpg on a non turbo! takes a little longer to warm up in the mornings so think its that.

I also worked out when i booted it i got 5mpg

Im waiting for Mr dixon to get back to me for a remap

LOL - another one.......:innocent:

But to answer your question - average around 19mpg; best around 24mpg; worst around 11mpg....... all still with a few rules bent slightly.....

Richard:biggrin:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I know lol!!!

Had a look at the back of a few car mags i have and there isnt one car that has a worst mpg than my car. I told becky that i need to go out and buy a ferrari 599. and it will pay for its self in what i save in pertrol :lol:

Why are our cars so poor on petrol and what causes them to be? it would be cheaper to run 6lv12 ferraris ans aston martins :wack:

runninig about on v-power and sticking to the law i worked out i was getting around 22-25mpg! happy enough with that.

dan.

Why do you care about your mpg?! I'm sure you never purchased your Zed or Supra for that matter with the mpg figures at the top of your list lol!

I would be more than happy with that. I know im running rich looking at me exhaust. really need to get it mapped

I was 21 when i got them and now 25 with a kid on its way so im growing up:lol:

I went to the cinema and back and it cost me £45 petrol plus food and tickets so cost me a total of about £80 to see a film

Just think the zed is quite poor for the size of engine. i can get 43mpg in the 2.5 v6 gsi and a tad over 30 in the supra and the zed comes in at 14 :lol:

WHEN my car was running i got 86 miles on £20. i didnt think that was too bad. lol

I get about that too in my 1995 N/A Auto.

I stick 40 quid in and get between 140 and 160 miles driving like a granny. :tank:

a full tank did me around 150 miles this month... my own fault for doing a 2 mile trip to work each day.

Best ive managed so far was 22mpg on a motorway cruise. Hoping a remap and a service can get me up to 25mpg.

guessing your in a tt??

Mine was doing around 3-4mpg fingers crossed its better now after having the emerald engine management fitted.

My worst (best) tankload was 9mpg, that was fun. I've stopped counting now.

Yeah i managed that but that was booting it lol!!!

just worked out my last lot of fuel , its returning 14 mpg GULP!!

is yours still an na

I think its such a shock to me because ive been driving the vec for the last 9 months and sunday was the 1st proper drive in the zed.

So any ideas why they are so bad? how can other cars be so good etc :red_indian:

mines 14-16 too and its pissing me off as i know it should be more,. yes i can afford it, but as car mad says, we shouldnt have to, seeing as other cars are doing 22-26. i can never beat 18 even on a 300 mile round trip on motorways.

full tank ges me 160-185 miles. and thats 70 quid every 2-3 days. seeing as its my daily driver.

i too would like to know whats going on as most seem to get 250 -300 miles to their tanks.

MPG is a good indication of the engine health as well... If you don't go stupid with it, it shouldn't be far off the average! And I'm scared to death of fuel leaks, so variations in mpg without a plausible reason should be investigated...

I get a steady 20mpg with some spirit driving now and then... It's hard to resist boost! :D

I think you just forget how thursty these cars can be when you give it some , certenly after you havent used them for a while. I burnt up 50 quids worth the other day without much bother

so these cars are not good on fuel then lol, oh well, its the price to pay for having a phat motor, so its worth it

think im getting around 15 to 16mpg on a run, if i give it the beans though, i can literally watch the fuel needle heading south lol

But sooooo much fun

On a Motor way cruse I'm getting around 25 to 27mpg

and i have a fuel leak at the FPR that i really need to get around to sorting out.

LOL you guys are right, its soooooooooooo much fun on high boost. (boost controller) but to be fair their not that fast, and most cars as fast use alot less petrol , e36 and e46m3 are about as fast and can happily see 25+ even as car mad said, his supra can do over 27..

had my car on conzult, everythings fine. just had the engine rebuilt too, with re-conditioned turbos ( ALL DONE IN SEPT)

weird.....
