I just thought if im gonna use it once, no point in getting an expensive one, if that one will do the job. Im also assuming it has the right adaptor to fit the spark plug thread.

Archie has a decent one Lee. That red boxed one from ebay is chronic, it works when it feels like it and gives inaccurate readings when it does work lol.

 

I've got one of these. Not sure how accurate it is with regards to the actual figures but I bought it to check differences between cylinders and it worked OK - showed a problem with the middle 2 cylinders on a citroen xsara which turned out to be a blown head gasket. Haven't tried it on anything else yet but it was a bit awkward on that citroen - having said that I remember the spark plugs were particularly difficult angle to get at. Will perhaps have a go on the zed tomorrow :)
