Front offside... sqeaks all the time whenever it moves. This is probably bad, but thought I'd check, just in case there's a simple cure.

 

 

 

If the squeaking is coming from the top mounting plate rather then the actuall shock, then some copper grease should do the trick.

 

You've got to remove the shock and put the grease on to the top of the mounting plate and on the actuall shock base that the mounting plate sits on.

 

If the squeaking is coming from the actually shock then ????? Maybe new shocks..

 

A common problem is squeaking from the bonnet - stick some grease on the hinges and on the bonnet catch itself - quick and easy and just might well be your problem.
