iv had a talk with one of my dad's (funny handshake friends) and a chap that iv used before.

hes a spray painter panel beater and welder with more than 30 years EXP he;s agreed to do full resprays for £500 garenteed any colour,hes doing mine pearl white with matt black

he dosnt own a garage he works from home but i can vouch for him

he welded my lancer for 50 when garages were quoting 300 and it was a top notch job he also sprayd my accord(matt black) and my golf(sky blue) and made a cracking job of them

anyways it works out anyone i get to go to him he'll have the car for a week and return it for (his words were if you want a quick job 150 or if you want it like it just from a show room 500)

anyway any one from west coast or central scotland give me a pm and ill get it sorted out for you.

he's based here in kilwinning and theyr's a two week waiting list

i can assure you that he's a top notch tradesman and everyone that goes to him swears by him.

like i said the price is for full spray

he also does welding and body works e.g rust patches,sratches and bodykit fitting these prices would need to be arranged with him but he;s happy to do the work

i was talking to him again et the pub he said if i get 5 then thats him made a bit of money so get names and contacts and ill sort it out for you.if you want to wait till mine is done and see the workmanship for yourself then go for it but i can say he does a real god job

So will you be doing a complete stripdown and respray or just masking as much up as possable !

For that kinda money,i wouldnt expect a full strip down, glass out job,but if he does a real nice finnish on a masked up type job,its well worth it IMO.

Surely for best results on spraying jobs you need a clean room or protected

wind free area.
