Hi there Jay.

Our Zed Guru Eric has a write up on his web site on how to socket the ECU. It has pics and should give you all the details you need to do the job. Great site for info!!!

Cheers guys, now just have to find the $$$ for the new chip wink.gif

Hi All,

I'm guessing the ECU chip is just an EPROM memory map rather than an actual processor.

If thats the case they should be easy enough to copy - so why aren't we all swapping upgraded ECU maps?????

Does anyone know anything about this?

Cheers

Yep it should be possible, but I dont have an EEPROM programmer. If anybody has let me know, as I would like to compare the different chips available. Especially against my unknown chip.
