Simply battery question

Hi,

Could someone help with a very straight forward question please regarding a battery?

I have a 1990 Jap Import Fairlady and need a new battery, unfortunately I got rid of the old one a good while ago so have nothing to compare to new one.

Can anyone suggest what battery I should get please as I don't know whether the terminals are set differntly to a UK model? Not after anything fancy, just an average battery to get the car started prior to MoT.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply Tudor.

With the battery type you mentioned, I found this:

Only thing is, the pos and neg terminals are back-to-front compared to my cables. Is it simply a case of fitting the battery front-to-back so that the terminals are on the right side?

Sorry for my stupid questions!

Found that 069 or 072 have the same spec as the 068 with the reversed terminals.

Many thanks for your help Tudor!

:)

i put a 075 on mine today, (but i work in a tyre, battery and exhaust bay), they are around 60 cranking amps less than a 068, terminals are right round way, (battery is a bit smaller), but alot cheaper! and turns over the engine fine.
