I have been told that the rear bumper thats goes with it isnt the wide arch version.

cannot remember who told me or how you can tell by looking at the pics :confused1:

Ive heard the rear bumper is just a standard one that you stretch to fit. Not heard of anyone that bought the ebay kit, but spoke to Luke @ zcentre a few weeks ago and he was telling me some horror stories about them.

Wonder what Mr. Bailey would say :turned:

Pritty much the same about luke i should imagen

What's the link?

I've never bought one from Ebay but have read posts about bad fitments of fibreglass products from Ebay suppliers. If they're cheap, there's probably a good reason :(

Just my opinion, but obviosuly depending what you're after, someone like Car.Mad or Luke for fibreglass.

learn by my mistake .. i bought one after speaking to the guy who assured me they were great ...thebody shop said they were thin would need lots of prep work and were a horrendous fit not just the rear apron either the whole soddin lot ..ended up scarpping it and bought one of lukes kits that the body shop ar ereally happy with ....spoke to jeff at zedworld and he confirmed the bad quality of the kit i bought.....he said the body shop next door could get it all to fit and it would look good finished but its a nightmare geting it to that stage .....spwre wide body kit at Jeffs at the moment if anyone wants to risk it !!!!

So you still have the wide arch kit then?? I would beable to make good of it for moulds

No thats not me mate. but that is the kit i question i think.

This is me :) http://stores.ebay.co.uk/car-mad-stylings

yep still have it ..its at Jeffs ..if you want it for moulds make me an offer :)

Well i would need pics and weigh up if its worth the moulds and the amout of materials/sales if you know what i mean :)

Sometimes kits can be very thin laminate, too short or just plain bad fit, usually due to moulds being stored badly where they twist through time in storage. The skill comes in making a bad kit fit and look end result like a kit that was a perfect fit first time. This is why alot of fibreglass kits get bad press, usually(but not always) its the bodyshop fitting it that arent good enough,I have had to fit alot of poor quality kits over the years(bought by the customer)and made their crap look good.If the bodyshop has experienced guys working the fibreglass, they will go the extra bit to make gaps and swages line up,whereare less experienced 'shops will fit it and say,"thats it,thats how it came ,not my fault its a crap fit,its fibreglass, what do you expect.."

Its the same with pattern steel panels, they rarely fit perfect, but a little bending, hammering, sometimes a nip and tuck with the grinder and mig will get a pattern panel look factory fit,not all 'shops will do that extra to get it looking good.

What Ady said was spot on about bodyshops. I have had a few say to me that things will not fit when i know for a fact that there a 99% fit. ive had customers send things back. for me to try on the supra and it was spot on. so i supplyed pics and sent it back and he fitted it himself in half an hour

On a plus note the lip is comming along nicely :)
