Just shook hands on a deal for my GTO £2095 now i have been looking at a few other possibilities and would like the forums views. Nowi cant see me driving around in a 1.1 fiesta as thats just not me. I have my zed that im building big spec but that is going to take some time and im quite happy to take it nice and slow to get it right. Ok then choices in the poll what do you reckon folks?

Just seen a lovely RX7 damn i like those cars and i know about the rebuild every 40-60k miles but what a great looking car.

TBH i already spend alot on fuel with having the zed and then the GTO so i dont think it is really an issue for me as i already budget for it and use the train if i go long journey.

Best thing about that 8 series? you don't look like every one else with a BMW. and do indicators come as optional extras on them? very rare i see a BMW driver use the bloody things, either that or the old problem i used to have was them screaming up my arse on a motor way and expect me to move out of the way when i was over taking, while sitting that close they may as well been taking the screws off my number plate.

 

Get a merc or Janes SWB. or even a saab? I'm a bit partial to the Saab 9-3 convertible to be honest. looks very sexy with the roof down.

Just rang the guy what an idiot doesnt sound like hes a dealer just some kid who couldnt get insured and the tax ran out. Says hes had 35 callers about it. It only went on PH today and he said that its half the price what it should be so i said well why is that whats wrong with it `oh i bought it cheap so im selling it cheap` is what he said. Oh and insurance company wouldnt have it that Jane`s swb is a manual non turbo they couldnt even find it on the reg due to being an import then said its a group 31 car??? More plonkers

I think its mainly Reps, They get a free brand new car, usually base spec Audi, BMW, Merc and they think they own the road!

Sounds about right, when i did the insurance quote on my first jap spec n/a it came back on the number plate search as a Nissan primera?

Were you calling about the Skyline or RX7? Ad for the R33 said he couldn't get insurance, but not the RX7 which the link was too..:confused1:

 

Skyline had been in a accident and RX7 looks suspiciously cheap considering it had a rebuild 15k ago.. A great looking motor though (one of the best lookin Jap cars ever..).

It was the rx7 guy i called however didnt seem genuinely good with people so therefore i think there may be more than he is letting on
