you'll probably find that you will need a boost sender to go with the boost gauge.

was the cluster that you took out factory fit?

  • Author

Yeh,

The previous cluster was factory fitted, just checked the engine bay and the cant

see any pipes going to where the sender should be so it likely missing !

Anybody got a pic of the loom or where the sender is actually seated ?

Next question would be who's got a sender that they could sell me ?

Cheers

the sender is normally sitting just to the left of the brake servo with a vac pipe going to it, leading from the balance bar and has a 3 wired plug, much like a coil pack or O2 sensor plug connected to it. you maybe lucky and find said plug just sitting there ready to be connected to it ;)

The s4 didnt have a boost guage so i very much doubt it will have all the wireing for it etc??

Heres a pic of the new nismo cluster i bought from the states !

Set me back £160, but was worth it cos the series 4 clocks differ and

I couldn't get a hold of any in the UK that would work !

Only two faults that i could detect with it so far, one is the boost guage

dont work and the second is the seatbelt light stays on all the time but

i think i'll just pull the bulb on that one !

doesn't look like a cruise one, though i could be wrong, thought cruise was flat, and didn't have a socket like a O2 sensor
