Need opinions guys. My girlfriend has asked me what i want for christmas.

My choice has been narrowed down to either an 89 spec spoiler or a 99 spec, from Dave Car Mad. Need to remove the high level one i have.

But am faced with the dilema.

If i go for the 89, i will need to source the light.

If i go for the 99, i will then be wanting a 99 front.

But in the future, the zed is going low and smooth. want to keep it looking as sleek as possible. Regardless Carmad will be getting the business.

All for the 94 UK in black

Which one???

totally agree, the swb has a nice pert bottom that flows into the talegate that just gets covered up with a spoiler, my swb will remain spoilerless, however the lwb just doesent look right without one. i like the 99 spec but i understand about the width. i like the 89 spec on a nice std looking car but not so much with an updated style, it just ages the car too much

anyone tried one from an s14, its a bit like the 99. i have one at my parents house

If you look at the 99spec from dead behind you will see why its the width it is....it flows perfectly with the contour of the side of the car, making it the perfect width.

Absolutely!

I don't quite understand all you lot saying the sides don't go down far enough, in my mind that is one of the things that makes the 99 spoiler so good, it kind of teases you - you expect it to touch the boot lid at the sides but it actually just floats above, whilst at the same time (as Yowers says) flowing perfectly with the contours.

Curiously, I think the 89 spec looks quite good on a modified car, because of the way it doesn't flow, which makes it more aggressive. Think the 99 is far prettier though, so depends what sort of look you're after.

for any one interested we will soon be makeing a custom fron lip that bolts to the underside of a 99 spec bumper, to give it a lower more aggressive look
