What's best silenced or non silenced de cats for my turbo? It has a 3" cat back with 5" back boxes so don't want it to spoil the sound but don't want it any noisier?

From past experience with other cars, if you fit unsilenced decats you will get a significant noise increase. With silenced decats you will get a very slight increase in noise.

i had a centre cross over balance box silencer fitted when i had the cats removed it helped cut down teh resonance and booming when driving at motorway speeds

where can you get silenced decats from??

I had mine made by a company called MIJ in walsall. This was for my s14 not the zed, but they would make them for most cars. I'm sure there's loads of places around the country that would make them.

You can get decats, with silencers from the zcentre, i found they helped reduce noise with my N/A. The x pipe on a catback also helps, i now have a mongoose cat back, which reduces the noise even more.

i dont want the sound to change though if pos? i was told that a de cat without a silencer would make it a lot noisier, so would a silenced de cat keep the noise near enough the same or quieter than with the cat still fitted?

I have a spare set for sale on here with 02 sensors and turbo elbows fitted.

how much u after mate and what are they?

It doesnt reduce the sound that much out the rear, just helps the drone inside the car.

save my arse are these japspeed? if so i will have them

Have a look at the photo in the for sale thread, there are no markings on the pipes or silencer, so I dont know who the manufacturer is.
