Hi all I'm a newbie

I'm off tomorrow to hopefully buy my first Zed. Just hope its as good as it looks!

Can anyone advise if there is a decent garage in the Wiltshire area?

Also are Adrian Flux the best to go to for insurance? Ive heard that I should be able to get classic car cover on a 92yr, is this true?

Cheers,

Chris.

Welcome to the club and good luck with your new purchase!

Do get some pictures up when yuo get it.....

As for insurance, if you go for a classic, give Lynbrooks a call. They are one of the cheapest around - depending on your individual circumstances of course.

welcome to the world of zeds hopefully. They will make you want to swear, and curse, but if looked after, they will make you smile everytime you drive them.

We want pics if you get it. As always any issues or advice just post it up.

Gutted! Went to view the zed and on the test drive noticed it was running safety boost! So told the guy I would get back to him and said the usual " Got another to go see". He called me 1/2 hour later to say that the next person to see it had bought it. Oh well I'd rather hang onto my cash till a good one than fork out on problems from the start. Theres always next time :)

Thers plenty more mate and if it was in safety boost and he did not tell you this before you drove it you were right to walk away.

Hang in there chris,

take your time buying the right car . if you get the right one you will keep it for years and love it like a member of the family . get the wrong one and you are in for a hate trip .

if possible get a manual . i drive an auto but eventually gonna do the conversion .

good luck with the search and dont forget that advice is always readily available on here .
