Now i know the pics are a comparison auto TT and Manual N/A, the lengths will be the same, but the spline into the gearbox differs between TT and N/A

how so? i fitted a tt box to my na prop with no problems! i thought the only difference between na and tt is the flange on the diff.

ahh well, I knew that someone with more knowledge than me would be along to correct me and give you the correct info.

Can someone take some measurements for me please on either manual or auto prop this is the info i have

from the front of the centre bearing, where the steel housing/mount starts (on top of the doughnut) to the very front end is approx 53cm there or there abouts

manual TT prop length (spider to spider)

1st half... 606mm

2nd half... 508mm

auto TT prop length (spider to spider)

1st half... 489mm

2nd half... 508mm

manual NA prop length (spider to spider)

1st half... 606mm

2nd half... 539mm

auto NA prop length (spider to spider)

1st half... 510mm

2nd half... 539mm

distance between yokes

NA... 71mm

TT... 80mm

a manual prop will fit into an auto box but, an auto prop will not fit into a manual box without modification

I have at the moment an N/A auto. I have a manual front prop piece and a 1 piece manual prop for when i do the conversion.

Looking at the measurements of both the auto and manual prop, the manual prop is longer, so my question is, how can a manual prop fit an auto box?

Cheers
