LOL; Yes, it is quite nice here - so you've been to Great Missenden then? It's famous for being the home of Roald Dahl; we have a museum dedicated to him in the village.....

 

......but truth be told, I am originally from the East End of London!! Leyton to be precise; although I was born in Hackney. I do not (some would say fortunately) have the accent though.....:tt2:

 

And I can also confirm that I'm not a bodybuilder-type from Durham......

I've never been to 'Boro but I have visited much of North Yorkshire and some of Northumberland - and I do like that part of the country.

 

I have to agree - fantastic countryside and superb roads; nice people and good food also.....

 

I try to visit North Yorkshire a couple of times a year; in fact we're spending a few days up there at the end of this month!!
