Ah you mean the full size one piece slam panel, Artztogo has one on his i fitted. you have to raise the bolts on the wings slightly to get it under at the edges i know that. i have one that just covers in between the light fittings.

then you can get 3 piece slam panels that do the bit mine does, plus 2 pieces to cover the headlights.

So 3 sorts in total i do believe dear chap.

yup. You can get a one piece fella that covers right across the top of the headlights.

Not so sure you should be asking for this information, might be best to pm someone who has one rather tham on the public forum.

Not having a go but I am sure the traders who have devolped these will be a bit pi$$ed off.

Please use some decorium when ripping off someones product :)

Im sure if Daz's intent was to rip someone else off and start trading the product, id agree and yes PM away, but as i think daz is after a one off for himself i cant see a problem with it. Plenty more people have self made items and asked for dimensions before in the past.

PS, don't look at Car.mads trading section you will have a heart attack :tt2:

Who said I'm ripping off someone's product ? that's unfair

I just thought you would be better descretly getting this info rather than publicly asking for the measurements.

no offence intended

Allan

TBH for the money I cant see it worthwhile making your own. Theres alot of cuts and curves. Plus you get the anodised washers and bolts.

Its about 50 1/4 " long, 5 3/4" max width at the edges, 5 1/2" at the centre.

To be honest, i think there is a lot of jumping to conclusions going on here, Daz hasn't stated what he wants the measurements for, it might be for fitting purposes for all anyone knows, so i cant see a problem with asking for measurements. after all he is doing a lot of engine dressing up and i too would like to know something to do with measurements if i thought the slam panel would interfere in anyway if i purchased one.

Especially as the TT slam panel needs bits snipping here and there to fit an N/A

Sorry, I can't defend myself st the moment, I'm typing this on my mobile, but I'm ****in fuming, I will ne back laterz

Sorry may have jumped to conclusions but as i said discresion is the better part of valor.

still no offence intended :)

there is no need to defend yourself mate, im sure Allan was just trying to put across the view of the people selling

hope this doesnt turn into an argument

Its ok, ill bang there heads together lol, might bend daz over me knee and give him a spanking though lol (heard he likes that)

No argument, I just remember the Twinz vs ZCentre bumper thread. Before most members on here joined.

I know you what you are referring too, i remember the thread.

To be honest, as far as im aware, no one makes a one piece slam panel for the N/A and people like Daz might have some really good ideas for something different or similar, i dont think he will be treading on anyones toes or has the intention too. Take the chinese/japs lol they copy everything

Ok, I could say a lot of things but i will refrain from doing, please pm me if you have some sizes for a slam panel, Thanks

Just so this thread doesnt erupt into a slagging match , please could a mod close it Thanks

Daz.

Daz, If your thinking about making one mate, why not get out the cardboard and make up a template to fit. I haven't got one myself but they look pretty straight forward fitments. You shouldn't have any trouble making one up mate.
