Mite sound a bit daft but ive just had a look round my engine bay and Ive not got an air filter ive took the panel of between the lights and ive just got 2 oval pipes 1 each side and a black sensor looking thing in the middle but nothing connected. Can any1 tell me where the filter goes and if it could have done any damage .

Featured Replies

The filter should be at the end of that black cylinder with the plug coming off of it between the headlights, the MAF. if thats the case mate get yourself a decent filter ASAP!!!!!

heres a pic of mine in pieces but shows you where the air filter should be

Cheers mate im on e bay now looking 4 1. Would it have dragged any shit into the engine not having 1 on it?

theres always a possiblilty but if she is running ok at the mo, then id say you should be ok just get a decent filter on there asap not a cheap ebay one though, speak to one of our traders Danny@Dta, Mike@MJP etc in the traders section, im sure they will sort you out.

good luck Craig

if you have no filter fitted, it will suck up all the crap around, make it run like a bag of poo. either get yourself a filter as an upgrade Apexi or blitz are good, or just get a standard one to get buy.

I have a spare original filter in good condition, just bolt it on.

You can have it for free, just cover postage, or if less than a fiver, just pop up a thanks thread.
