Intersting!! I know what the outcome will be :sweatdrop:

Hmm I wonder...

:lol:From what I've heard Daz is a bit limp wristed - might not be able to handle a proper engine in his hairdresser's car:lol:

Got my sensible hat on so voted to keep it n a. Because its a convertible cruzer with no need for outrageous acceleration:)

You never drive your TT anymore. Do the vert its the best of both then, it will only go as quick as your right foot.

Sell the TT and spend it on the vert

Drove it last week (for 1 mile):blushing: Yeh, soo tempted to sell all and plough the money into the vert, but I`ve put toooo much money in the TT and it would crack me up to sell it for penuts

option d

v8

Already suggested that. That very nice Nissan 4.5l v8 that John Dixon advertised. Not cheap though

v8

:gunsmilie: I know of a nice V8 sat in a barn 2 miles from my house, I could have it for a few bob, maybe a future project :tongue_smilie:

He also has a v12 that was getting fitted in my dads Escort van, but it never materialised

I do come from a family of modders thinking about it, my dads old ezzy van had a x3ri engine in it!!!!

Just do it mate. With out sounding rude it looks fook all compaired to your vert.

Even use it as a doner car, swap engine overs looms, gearbox, ARb also brakes etc then sell the silver one as a na.

Best thing you can do is stick a TT in it. think how much it will be worth

Thought about it for hours and hours, can`t do it, i like both in different ways, but never say never!!!:ninja:

Why not sell your silver TT, buy ANOTHER vert and convert that one then you have both...

Or buy a real mans 300zx, i.e mine! ;)

No, you lot dont get it, I get in my vert on a summers day and cruise!!! no stress, no speed , just slow and civilised and reliable, I get into my TT and rag, it feels like it will blow up any minute but on that day i dont care, its adreneline, I would never have a sick top, they feel clostrobhibic and they ruin the pleasure of t-bars or open top motoring for me and thats what its all about for me IMO IMO, No disrespect for any zeds they are all great, but for me its just 2 options.

What do you think you right foot is for. i dont think you get it duh!!!!

Its for kicking you up the arse:lol::lol:

As i said, never say never!! It wont be this year or next, but definatley an option!!

So you'll be starting converting it just after xmas then lol

It deserves to have the go to match its looks. TT all the way.

Agreed

But.. i know where DaZ is coming from.. it's a totally different pleasure in a Z vert.

My reccomendation, as somebody who has done a NA>TT Convertible conversion, dont bother.

The idea may sound great on paper, but Nissan kept the Convertible as an NA for a reason. The vert chassis is all wrong for TT power its just not meant to go fast or be driven hard and it does'nt do either very well, keep it as a stylish cruiser or regret ruining it.
