dose the heater system work off the A/C system

there isnt a belt on the A/C comp just wondering if this might be why the heaters arnt working

A few people have removed their aircon and still have the heating , so I don't think so. Is it blowing, if so if is not getting warm its most probally an airlock in the water system.

No the heating is seperate from the A/C, you might have an airlock or your heater matrix has given up the ghost

ok the blower isnt working, when i turn the heaters or demister on there is a slight draw on power as the revs drop ever so slightly.

i thought the coolant was coming out coz the carperts are soaking but thats coming from the leaking targas

That'll prob be the knackered heater matrix leaking...

so the full dash has to come out then.

might be worh mentioning that the carpets only wet when it rains...or would this explain why the inside of the windows are always soking

No do a search for heater matrix replacement it can be done without taking the dash out as ive done it, a little fiddly and takes about 4 hours if your lucky but it can be done
