I think we should go with his £25K....I knew our cars would turn into a serious investment one day...must admit though...I wasn't expecting it quite so soon!

I agree. In my view our cars are seriously under valued for what they are. If someone is buying one things like fuel economy will not be a problem. It did get me thinking about the value when I was at my local petrol station. The chap next to me said "That car is fantastic, I have always wanted a 300, instead I have to drive around in this company car" He had a brand new 5 series BMW.

 

My point is that his perception of the value of my car was greater than the value of his 5 series. We could be onto something here!
