I've taken my car home to Fife and since had my tame local back street garage check it over and MOT it and all was well. (Came as a surprise to me I can tell you!!!)

Anyway, in passing, he did say that he wouldn't be keen to do anything major on it. While I appreciate his honesty, it leaves me with a bit of a quandry as to what to do if/when the turbos do sing their swan song.

So do any of you know of/can recommend anyone to maintain my P&J in central Scotland?

TIA!

In the fife area RJM in Glenrothes used to do a lot of performance stuff, Falkland Performance Centre are also in Glenrothes, I'm sure there are a few more who would be able to work on your motor.

Never mind taking it to a garage.....get underneath and do it yourself ;)

No greater satisfaction than fixing it yourself :D

I agree!!

I have the spannering capabilities, the tools and the facilities but as I work away during the week and am only at home two days, anything more than changing a bulb may result in having my danglies as jewellery!!
