Hesitation

Check that your fuel pump voltage regulator isn't knackered, I had the same problem & it took me months to find it! If you (or get someone else to) check the voltage on the fuel pump motor supply wires, the voltage should be about 10 volts when you first start the car but will then drop to 6-7 volts. If it's 2-3 volts then the voltage regulator box is knackered! This is located behind the rear passenger side quarter panel trim.

If you need one, I've got a spare that you could have for a small fee.
