well the inevitable happened, when i converted from NA to TT there was no clutch or flywheel included in the sale of 'all parts required for conversion' so i just used the NA clutch and flywheel..... it was an exeedy clutch that had only done 500 miles so i thought it was gonna be ok for a tt kicking, just to make sure, i rang a few places and did a bit of research and discovered the NA exeddy clutch was (apparently) capable of coping with in the region of 400bhp :\

anyway..... this is no longer the case.... clutch is now slipping in 5th 4th and a bit in 3rd, iv got a tt flywheel and a tt pressure plate i JUST need a lining.....

except no one sells them any more?? so! does anyone know where you can buy tt linings from or ridiculous cheap clutch kit from?

Mate.. Im sorry but seems to me you are trying to have a go at me for something unfair.I did not like what you wrote ''when i converted from NA to TT there was no clutch or flywheel included in the sale of 'all parts required for conversion''

you knew perfectly what came with the deal and didnt before you came from manchester to london, you knew there was no clutch i told you twice before you came, hence why yu started threads asking if the NA clutch would work in a TT engine and as far as i remember you were perfectly happy with the price i gave you and the engine was superb.

Not here to argue,i absolutely love this club and im not much of a talker but i found that a bit rude coming from you, months after the deal was done.

No, your wrong, I only found out there was no option when I went throught the box of bits u gave me and discovered a lack of flywheel which was kinda integral to the useage of a tt clutch, as you will remember I rang you when I got home asking where it was? You said it was being used so I said I'll use my na clutch and flywheel instead the clutch wasn't included I was aware of that, so I got hold of one but what was I going to attatch it too? I'm not having a go I'm just saying otherwise ida rung you again, I'm not arsed I just need a lining, the oil cooler was also missing.

It's funny how you're remembering all of this what 6 months later? all because you just had a problem , this makes no sense whatsoever , i do not remember the flywheel issue, you came to london with your friend you saw everything that was included in the sale or didnt you? i even gave you the radiator for free because i had another one which unfortunately was broken and i didnt even realize that and i had to go buy one the following week of a member from london.

im not even going through this , the deal was a bargain you saw it when you came to pick it up,not my fault you go to track days and then things get broken and you tried to blame the seller from months back , ridiculous. never had any problems whatsoever in this club.

Guys, try keep this friendly please !

I'm guessing it has been over 6 months since the sale so I don't think this is a place

to pick a fight, i'm not taking sides on this one but if there was a fault with the sale

it really should have been raised with the seller at the time rather than wait all this

time.

Try keep this to get a resolution for the problem rather than a free for all fight.

Never said I had a problem, my fault for not going through the box's of bits before I left, I didn't realise the flywheel wasn't included? which like I said is kind of integral to an na - tt conversion. You said that everything required was available bar the clutch, why would I assume you'd taken the flywheel off? I had alot to look at as there were lots of parts to go through, I'm not arsed? Why are you getting all continental? Calm down and chill out! If I was arsed ida persued it when I rang you but I didn't, I thought sod it I'll just make do with what iv got A new flywheel was like £400 luckly I was given one for free And as time was a factor as it had to be ready for Germany 2 weeks later, and no it's not funny I remember all this 6 months later it just my memory? What are you talking about? It was a bargin Im happy with it, there was minor resentment when I came to throw it all together and the oil cooler was missing but all was forgotten when I fired it up after using a powersteering cooler of a primera :P chill out!
