Hi Midlands members!

I'd like to announce the appointment of new joint regional events organizers for your area. DCarey has not been around of late, so 2 very familiar faces have offered their services to the club!

So it is with pleasure that Kim and I introduce JeffTT and JamieTT as the new REOs with immediate effect.

On behalf of The Committee, I'd like to thank DCarey for all his efforts to date; and congratulate Jeff and Jamie on their new roles within the club.

For The Committee

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Welcome fellas, and thanks for taking on this role. I'm sure you will drum up some interesting gatherings for the Midlands members.

Thanks guys, Jamie TT and myself will work out a schedule of meets and will post them up as a main sticky thread but give updates and pics monthly.

In the meantime any meets already set up or any suggestions are all good.

Jeff TT

congrats Jeff and Jamie - another step in your conquest of the world! :D

Well done fellas

Given how much work and effort you guys put in at the major events, the Midland group are a lucky bunch of peeps to have you 2 running this area for them.

Hmm me thinks the numbers of attendees to these gatherings is about to increase lol

I think you're right mate - Midlands meets were great and as regular as clockwork at one point - in fact looking back at my photos in 2007 we were in Arnold in Jan, Stonebridge in Feb, Glenfield in March, Newark in April and Stenson in May! I think shortly after that I was having my rebuild so didn't attend any for a while.

I first met Jeff in 2002 at the first Zed meet I went to at the Boat in Solihull. Meet organised, IIRC by Danny of DTA (Hi Danny).

And here's proof

Given the run-ins he's had with some idiots on this form, I can't tell you how impressed I am he's still involved with Zeds. Always given me good advice and service so it's a pleasure to see him getting more closely involved with the club again. Oh, and hello Jamie too, naturally :)

Thanks Gio nicely worded there:whistling:

I cannot believe that meet at the Boat inn was 8 years ago!!! jeez and I had chrome headlights too!

Jeff

Excellent :D im sure some worth while meets will be popping up and around near us now!

Oh yes, rest assured that both myself and Jamie will be giving value for money..well free actually but you know what I mean.

Jeff

Blimey, only just noticed this otherwise i'd have offered my services :)

Congratulations guys and look forward to seeing some meets starting up again!
