Work as kindly allowed me the facilities so Today saw the start of 'get the Z an MOT' -first job was the welding,got her up on the lift and found this!

Abit of cleaning and prodding,it turned into this!!

Boldy kindly offered his services Today so basically he got on with it! LOL!

Made a new inner bit,

All I did was fit the new Tension rod bushes that came with the car

Was going to repair the Exhaust but it's fooked so a new one is going on,need front brakes,bottom ball joint,rear Hicas joint and a loan of Boldy's wheels for the MOT-I Hope!

Cheers fella's-the weld on the large panel at the top is my attempt!:detective::whistling: LOL!

When all the tidying is done the underside will be well Shultzed!!:hammer:

Wheel lips are in a state tho'-but they are Laquered so should be salvageable I Hope....

Was thinking of skirts but after seeing Boldys car when he took his off I think I'll stick with the smooth look, when funds allow you will get a shout for a bumper!-could you mould one without the Swage line? (save me filling it in!)

Wish i could weld, I've done spot welding before, but that was just for work and wasn't very venturing with the welder or the boss would of gone mad. but would love to be able to do that baldy. your a legend mate. car looks like its coming along nicely, always surprising how much rust ends up INside the car.

Same as Boldys, yes I like em' but they fall short of the sill flange,which I don't like!:ninja::wink:
