Hi All,

Getting a Zed in 2 days time, and have been asked to pull a mini meet together!

got myself in leamington, then a couple in cov and leicester, so that kinda area.

what do people want? Decent pub, with large carpark and good food, but does it also have to be close to some good roads for a little drive out round?

Cheers

Brillo

Would be good to go for a little convoy somewhere - just so other people can gawp and stare! What with Cov being so central I would suggest we meet there, then its a case of choosing between A46/M69/M40/A5 etc for a bit of a cruise! Pub and dinner would be cool, but not essential - but preferably not a retail car park!

I flexible really - never plan anything too far in advance as I usually forget things. But a few days notice and I'll be there.

Rob, Chris, Batman et al, what are your thoughts?

cheers

well as i will be sacraficing much needed sleep no matter what day we go on ill be around for possibly 2-3 hours- wont be able to make a day of it im afraid but im open to all options -

the no retail carpark is a good idea, and the convoy drive sounds like a good plan also-

but i will just be a lemming and follow what everyone is going/wanting to do :D

McD's carpark for some burnouts and handbrake turns!! :D......i'll get me coat :mac1:

but seriously, i dont mind what we do really, a nice drive and a steak and ale pie and i'll be happy :p

Although, just an idea, we could see if theres a good rolling road nearby, just to compare manhood, as all us blokes like to do  Best one i know of is Northampton Motorsport. Might even give us a club discount.

sat 30th or sun 31st would be best for me, i get payed the monday before

lmao -

While i'm getting the V8 bedded in i don't want to do too many long distance journeys (especially seeing as i don't have a fuel gauge!) so covs a bit far for me. I'll be having a BBQ at mine some point in the next couple of weeks for the midlands lot so come along lads :D

ha, its very much alive and kicking (the tail out) and is sweet! I'll try and get some pics when we get a bit of sun. Just put a new front number plate on, and looking at some clear repeaters as well.

This weekends a bit soon for me - I propose Saturday 30th of October, in the afternoon - meet up about 2pm, have a catch up and go for a bit of a drive, then back to pub afterwards for a debrief and maybe a bit of food.

I have a Pub in mind - the Queens Head in Meriden:

easily reachable from anywhere in the midlands, as its 5 mins from junction 6 of the M42 - see map here:

We'll then go for a bit of a b road blast up to Atherstone, along the A5 to the M42, then come off and finish on some dual carriageway along the A446.

Whos in? Lets make it a big'un!

I'm in! Perfect timing too, booked my zed in with Jeff for some welding on the 1st :p and only 8miles from my house :D

Good stuff keep em coming all! The car park is nice and big so we should have no problems for space.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there! I'll make sure i bring a camera for getting some decent pics.

Will do buddy, I might even do a zed bonfire night if anyone's up for it?

The 5th is a friday night and there's a cracker of a fireworks display down the road so we could bbq at mine and drive down?
