Hi all, been a while but I'm back with a new Zed.

Just bought this last weekend from croeso, some of you will probably know it....

...but those who dont I'm sure you'll see it at future meets and events.

These are some of croeso's pics as I've not took any myself yet.

It's really good to be back behind the wheel of the Z32, especially this one.

Must say I prefer this to the 350Z I had previously which was something of a let down after owning a 300ZX TT before that.

What do you all think?

Did I do good?

Nice buy, i do like Chris's old car and saw it in the flesh, very nice. He looked after it well, so you shouldnt have any problems any time soon.

Cheers

I hope your pleased with the car, I will miss the looks that the car gets wherever it goes.

Please get rid of the "GB" off the back though :)

The "GB" badge is gone, was a magnetic one just for driving on the continent

Looks great mate. Not too far from me so i'll hopefully see it sometime.

I've been to your house before for a set of Supra mkiv dampers last winter mate!

Anyhoo thanks for all your positive comments and for such a nice welcome back, I feel all warm and fuzzy now lol.

Chris took those photos and I do believe the ones with the boats are in Monaco, I'm sure he'll be along soon to either confirm that or correct me

Yes Chris I'm chuffed to bit's with it mate, was quite a long day last Saturday and many miles covered but well worth it, you live in a great little town and enjoyed my time down there.

I was knackered as I was working late the night before but Chris kept the coffee flowing, top bloke!

Also looking at your Euro Run pics has inspired me to do it myself, maybe spring / summer next year I might just take a week off and do it, those look like awesome driving roads.

Now I've been moving pics around in photobucket and severed the links like a berk...

...so I've re added the deleted pics here.....

glad you had a good day, wanted you to be happy with your new acquisition, after you left I remembered I had a trophy for the car, "best widearch at JAE 2008" I will pop in the post

All my 2010 european run threads are available to view on another 300zx enthusiasts forum although I may be posting a condensed version on this forum in the near future. still have the Austrian run to complete first then may do a bulk posting on this forum..! You can always put your name down for next years ZRun? its advertised on this forum. A mad weekend of driving in the company of serious petrolheads..!

looks great mate, always liked this motor, will keep my eye out for you bud

Yeah mate you'll likely see me out and about.

It's booked into a bodyshop on the 1st Nov so it'll be in there for about a week.

The previous owner (before Croeso) who had the Strosek fitted thought it would be a good idea to fill the panel gaps between the bumpers and the wings when the kit was all fitted, and naturally these have started to fracture.

So I'm having the bumpers removed, filler cleaned out then bumpers refitted with a panel gap as they should have been in the first place then painting front and rear bumpers, front wings, rear quarters, skirts and possibly the bonnet as there are a few tiny stone chips dotted about.

Also the rear panel is going to be satin black.

Not sure of the name of it, it's a few hundred yards down the road from Jamies Tiles by Alexandra bridge.

He's my dads mate, he used to run the bodyshop at Vardys on Newcastle road, then when that closed he got his own place, he's done bits and bobs for me over the years and always does a superb job.

Got a puncture today on way home from work too, so having to shell out for another 275/35/18, ooch.

It actually happened about 1/4 of a mile from home so I rolled home steady, but knacked the tyre wall in the process, the two rear tyres were pretty much new so I've just ordered the one of the same make rather than replace both, although I would have had I not been able to get the same one.

i know the place, has had a few nice skylines in there, they have one at the moment that looks great

Sorry Bud

I forgot to mention when you bought the car, its got some ancient voodoo curse on the wheels and tyres. some Barsteward somewhere has got a little miniture of that car and every now and then they shove pins in it :cursing:
