Im sure someone said something about DOT 5 synthetic can damage the rubber seals in the calipers so what is best to use. Is that castrol response Dot 4 any good?

i have been using "dare i say" Toyota racing dot 5.1 fluid in my car and it has so far worked a treat paul.

there is a product out called bluestuff brake fluid. I think andy i just baught some, and that stuff is the best of the best. It is pretty expensive but after andy i and his "help my brakes are on fire" im sure it is well worth it.

I also reccomend 5.1, which is very different from 5. (Not that I have it installed yet!).

 

I'm also thinking of putting this in the clutch system to so the old hydroscopic cluch problem (which you get with some of the more heavy aftermarket clutches), but 100% not sure if 5.1 is okay here.
