if i get uk spec speedo clocks do i need to calibrate them

just wondering cause my jap spec clocks look crap, so if i purchase uk spec ones with 180 mph will they just go straight on

    I wanted to swap all my gauges for UK spec ones, so I bought a UK dash unit.

     

    Unfortunately the connectors were slightly different (series 2 v series 1 I think), so I just swapped all the individual gauges over. It works fine. It also meant that I didn't need a speedo convertor.

     

    If you can get a UK unit from the same year it should just plug straight in.
