my rear window seals have split around the bottom corners and the previous owner decided the best thing to do was fill in the gap with white sealent (tosser). Autoglass told me it was £300 for the seals before they come and fit them. is there anything i can do which doesnt involve £300 lol. would second hand seals b any good??

Not sure you would get the window out without breaking it to replace the seals to be honest, it flexes quite a bit with the tail gate as it is.

that's a shame, I've got a black tail gate sitting on my black one (see my rides) that the seal is perfect on. im splitting the car, i just haven't advertised that fact yet. spoiler is already removed and no rust bubbles. well would depend if you wanted to respray it, but id sell it a lot less than £300 so you could get it sprayed up and would still probably cost you less than £300

well i was going to b getting the car sprayed soon as i was about to fit a new spoiler and a few other body parts, how much would you be wanting? and delivery costs.

i managed to get my rear screen out without smashing it. accordig to jeff you can replace the main seal with some std u section which looks almost identical. why not take the screen out before the respray. you never get a very good finish around the seals anyway.
