Not sure but the old fashioned way to find a leak is engine running spray some carb cleaner over the pipes slowly and when you get to some leak the engine will falter on tic over

Im sorry but which bit of the video was the problem in bud,i thought she behaved rather well imho.Ive just watched a video of a car allowed to idle for a bit switched off and then fluttered very slightly upon restart and proceeded to run smooth. If that is a problem youll need deep pockets and patience to resolve all the other z32 things youll encounter.Id leave that well alone imho. The rpm did look low slightly but a consult check would say for sure.

rpm looked about right tbh, isnt it 750rmp idle for a TT?

Not sure if he is on about the little bit of bump just after restart, but i wouldn't call that a cause for concern, it doesn't rev past 1k on start which is what my new one does. and sounds good when sitting idling so i agree with jimmer, cant see a problem with that to be perfectly honest.

ok thanks guys =0D

Those Nissan troubleshooting diagnostic pages have helped me from start to finish so far... going to be cleaning all the contacts tomorrow, have a diagram on the service manual for each electrical.

Thanks for the help.

When i got my zed it idled at about 700rpm - and was pretty throbby too. When it was at Zedworld for its 1st check over, Jamie adjusted it to about 900rpm at which point it was perfectly smooth and stopped throbbing - but compared to my old skyline (which idled smoothly at 600rpm) it did seem a tad high - but then, who am I to say so. Depends what you're used to i guess.

Don't think it constitutes a problem from what i've seen though.

cheers
