lol looks like us mods are all out buying new Zeds, (come on StellaZ hurry up)

So this is Rev1's old car and I'm sure this is going to bring a tear to his eye, (really sorry about that, but she is in good hands matey)

After a very exhilarating drive home yesterday, i spent most of the night (12am to 3am) fitting my LED conversion that Groover had done for me (bloody top work that man) and fixing a stereo that was refusing to eject one of Rev1's disks. and then went sleep

after i got home from work today, i instantly ran out to her and started work, parking both Zeds up next to each other i set about removing the back panels to switch my UK rear seat belts over to the New jap spec one sitting there wanting me to take her for a spin, but first things first in a labor of love, tweaking what is already a fantastic car. Next thing to tackle was the wing. badly crumpled, there was just no hope for pulling hammering and bending, but armed with a spare (thanks Rev1) i sprayed it up ready, and set to work taking the old wing off and replacing it with the new one.

Once that was done i started on the 99spec rear light mod. having fought a hard battle with that horrible sticky black glue Nissan use. i finally got around to making Brake light chow main in the oven, after wrestling with the casing i finally made them split apart to get to work.

Anyway, I've just got back from putting them on the car, so here is the grand unveiling.

Looks fab dude!!! dash looks cooool, cars gonna be a stunner!!

I certainly hope so, cant wait to fit the 99spec and spoiler now. been looking at wheel refurbishment, but no one wants to do 3 piece split rims just in case they fook the join up. so might go down the do it my self route but would like to get it done properly, defo will be getting the spokes white and the rim polished. found some old photos of it when markymark owned it. and the wheels look fantastic when they are good..

Was toying with the idea of doing a Jimmer as i pretty much have all the parts to have a black bonnet black targas and black boot lid, would also sort out this delamination problem that seems to be happening to the rear screen.

I read a thread that mark had posted where people described it being old window tint but it definitely doesn't look like its after market.

Do you mean on the rear windscreen? If so then yes i`m almost sure its factory tint that has lost its colour? I took my sliver one to a pro window tint man it took him hours to get the stuff off and it fooks the heated elements too, but i scraped all the elements off and the new tint goes on smooth:cool3:

Ian. if you need a set of std wheels , i've got some. i was planning the same thing, as i was the wing, and the led dash, the wing, the spoiler, the alarm..hell i should have just hired you last year...

I already got a set of OEM wheels on the black one but thank you for the offer.

Yeah pretty much got around to doing everything in 2 days of ownership. been having a look at wheel refurbishments, and if i can get the heavy duty lacquer, ill go down the do it your self route, ill just mask up everything i don't want to touch first. then get the old buffer out and go around that lip, think it would come up quite good, only thing is, I'm going to lose the manufacturers name on one of the spokes unless i can find some decals somewhere to put on before adding the lacquer.

Raising the car at the weekend and having a look to see if i can spot this power steering leak, also going to take the starter motor off and reseat it properly before it damages teeth.

Looking good! Glad your in a working zed! Have you still got the other two then? Or did you break them?

Still got the black TT, im breaking it. but waiting on a Engine hoist, so at the moment im stripping the small parts off and putting them aside. then when i get the engine hoist, engine and gear box is coming out, everything else is being stripped off it back to bear shell then its going to the Zed heaven.

Once ive done that, going to get everything boxed up an post it noted so i know what is what, get them all weighted up and start putting up a for sale thread.
