you,ll use your 2gb up in a week the amount of time you spend on here stella. lol

2gb is not a lot, BUT if you don`t download anything then it will be ok, Every time you log onto this forum or any forum/ebay/website it takes a little off your download limit!

If you were to download just 1 movie that would use all of your 2gb allowance, I have unlimited but there is still as fair usage policy that lets me only download about 30gb a month, and some months i go over

But using websites/forums it hardy dents the usage.

But if i were you i would go for the £7.50 unlimited :thumbup1:

Hi Daz did you buy the AMP unit u were after, had a look in the garage but sadly nothing.

No Mate, will ring you laterZ :winkiss:

if your not downloading movies, then I reckon 2gb will be plenty.

But if you do ever download any software or movies...you will instantly go over your limit.

most dvdrip movies are around 1gb, but I have downloaded software that has a filesize of 15gb each

I'm with BeThere broadband and have been for a few years, they absolutely wipe the floor with anyone else I have tried. Never had an outage and solid download speeds even at peak times. You pay a bit more per month but they push your phone line to its absolute limit. Sky offered me 3mb MAX at my current address on their paid for service, I'm getting 14mb consistently with BeThere for £6.50 a month at the moment. Sky pings way too high for hosting an online game match.

im on aol at the moment, my download speed is poor, never thought of cod though, if i had a poor commection would it interfer with gaming?

hoiw can i test what i would get from sky in my area?

Down to area, distance from exchange and quality of the copper wire. But how can Sky offer 3mb versus 14mb on the very same line? Crooks thats why, I'm currently paying £49 a month for their TV and they offer 3mb!

StellaZ normally there is a way to check potential speed on the line by giving them your phone number. I know it will on the Bethere website.

Yes mine is shit slow( another excuse for shit COD playing):taz:

I`m with BT option 3, costs me £25 per month for a maximum of 1.8mb line speed, thats the fastest i can get round here, my dad lives 2 miles away with the same package and gets 8mb easily, As Sir Charles say`s its to do with the distance from exchange ect

maybe this is why i do so well at cod compared to you lot:rofl:

When I go on COD (in my garage) my girlfriend gets to go on my computer to look at shopping and shit, and also the mother-in-law lives next door and is using our wireless for free internet, so i have no fooking chance with a crap speed rate, the other day when I came top of cod they were both out, so it makes a huge difference to the kill rate, so beware, at the moment they are out again and I hope they stay out :nuke::nuke::nuke:

ah but i have been drinking and i get better as i go on:)

You lads from Doncaster can only drink Shandy`s :gunsmilie:
