I notice though that the ebay add doesn´t state what width of tyre the ramps will take max, you´´d really need tp establish that first as it´´s no good if the max width is 205´´s or even smaller.

i just made two 8 feet ramps tp hook over my ramps and the car still only just clears . once jou get it on the ramps a good high lift trolley jack under the diff so you can get a couple of concrete blocks under the back wheels . its not a nice place to be lying on your back under a car but this will give you about 2 feet between the floor and the bolts

Thanks guys, and an extra big thanks to jmwuk - that is a very kind offer, but i think i need to get a set anyway, so i might get these and modify with some wood.

If i have trouble with them for any reason i might well have to take you up on the offer of a loan.

pab i have some you can borrow if you want?

**edit** yes yes, i know should of read the whole thread before replying, but i will have them at mine if you manage to make it down to me at the weekend bud so you can take them with you then.

That's what I use and they are great, but last time I looked they were £49 a pair.
