Ok I was wondering what hobbies that everyone has other than the obvious Zed one?.

 

For me

 

I love History, collect Roman and WW2 stuff

Go Metal Detecting

Cycling

Mixing & Scratching Technics and Vinyl (old skool but cool)

Also love doing DIY and painting etc. Good job with some of the tennants I get lol

I enjoy Cycling now I'm fit enough to do it. I'm also pretty good at drawing, athough I dont really do i enough to call it a hobby. :thumbup1:

Making biodiesel and DIY projects on my house. Just finished installing a wood burner and now making an iol burner to heat my house

I'll soon be taking up off-roading, I'm spending loads of money at the mo even though I've not been yet lol.

 

Photography is a big one for me, that also brings me onto another hobby which is urbexing.

 

My dad has been metal detecting for years - I've asked him probably 10 times over the last 6 months when is he taking me, but he always seems to forget. I really want to go as I also like old stuff, and he has found over 100 roman coins within a mile of the house and I want some :(

It can be fun but I dont get out enough, I do it in spits and spurts found a few nice bits a roman godess statue head and loads of coins and buckels and stuff. Normally though you go out for a whole day get freezing cold and come home with about 3p and loads of bits of metal that really could be anything.

My young family are my hobby at the moment, they do take up rather a lot of my time! But we have just started Geocaching - great fun and a good healthy outdoor pursuit for my eldest.

 

Also enjoy cooking and sleeping, when I get time lol!

 

 

Oh, and car detailing - obviously :D

I'm a freelance graphic designer so a little bit of art here and there when i have time, i play guitar/keyboard/sing, walking, bowling, gardening..... all sorts of things :)

Guitars, drums, COD and computers for me

playing pool- ive been playing since i was 7 (im 24 now) and am rather good ( not to blow my own trumpet) but if you have been playing that long and are still bad then there is something wrong, and kickboxing - which i have been doing for 8 years and have came 4th in the national championships among 250 other fighters, plus i enjoy other things like bowling and cinemas etc

My hobbies are golf, snowboarding and also gaming.

Those are pritty perfect for me and I get a lot of enjoyment from them for hours.

have you got any pics of your best finds? I think the best things my dad finds are along the lines of silver roman coins, a few celtic ones, he also has a hawkeye for finding flint arrowheads (obviously without the metal detector lol)

oooh, i don't have time at the mo, but used to make trance tunes myself, send us some of your work! i used to do comedy stuff, banging tunes with movie clip vocals in, good to dance to and laugh at too, think all my stuff has dissapeared tho, not done it for a while, as soon as the studio is up and running i'll be all over it, ot some big DJ friends, can get stuff played at the best clubs, allthough that is a long way off yet!

 

i would love a remote control plane, and a nitro R/C car, boyhood things i never got, will do soon :) and i would love to build an airfix model, been too long!

 

i just love fettling things too, coming across a problem and fabbing some way around it, keeps my brain going...

Its all about the Golf for me, i try and play as much as i can. But my job is a bit like a hobby insofar as it does impede on my everyday life, as a youth worker my job kind a becomes all encompassing really.

Too busy at work for lots of hobbies, but Love messing with my zed`s and I love to snowboard, If you`ve never done it you should try it, I always thought it was a bit of a snobby sport, but its not just about the boarding, the social scene is awesome and so too are the beautiful mountains covered in white fresh powder!!!! :tongue_smilie:
