Aston martin db9 470bhp 1700kg versus my 470bhp 1450kg zed

My boss owns a db9 470bhp, surely mine would have it? seeing as it weighs 250kg less with the same bhp output?

Well id like to own both :) i can imagine getting bored of the aston after a while as there wouldnt be much room for mods and im always thinking of new ways to improve the zed its what i live for :)

Thing is with the zed its takes alot of skill to keep the power down. Aston has posh traction control and all sorts.

I think it would also boil down to how quick you can get them turbos spooled up. though power to weight should help a little.

No problem getting the turbos to spool, they will spool instantly off the line and anyway i went for a test drive the other day and i get 18psi at 3500rpm woooooosh.

You know Ive managed a 12.6sec quarter mile BUT i never managed a descent second gear change in any of the runs, if i could get at least one smooth 1st to second gear change il knock at least half a second off my time i just know it.

I have no idea who would win, as you say he has all the new modern driver aids.... but i would like to watch the showdown...

Do it from a roll and you'll easily win. Standing start the db9 will take it, to start with at least and you may catch up with him again.

Well theres no chance my boss would wanna showdown lol. Not that kinda person. His aston has only done 500miles from new and i was talking to his personal driver, i dont think he has even driven his aston or any of his other vehicles. what a pussy.

Not with racelogic TC! My best times recorded was with TC turned on max slip! Gives so much feedable power its great!

money is on you bud trust me you will win my mate got aston v 12 he said he wasnt trying when i beat his he pulled out over 140 and he said he wasnt trying to far back and no bottle lol
