Thanks mate, tryed everything but heat now, i have grinded and hammered until i can hammer now more, its the worst job i have ever done! it looks as though i may need to buy some hubs they havent even moved. Nothing has ever beat me but for today i have give up.

ive been smacking the actual thredded knuckle part towards the front of car

The other way! see links to drift em' back to front!-if you have a blowtorch heat the arms gently, they are alloy so will expand quickly.

Yes, get some heat on it, I am always shocked by the way a bit of heat seems to do the trick.

Had some really siezed nuts a few weeks back, wouldn't budge, in danger of rounding off. Got the blow lamp out, dink, job done!

i attacked the opposite site to where the track rod would be. Ground it flush then smacked it with a hammer / drift.

bought a blow torch today and im gonna attack it tomorrow night, thought about getting back on it today but i would have been in the wrong frame of mind and would have ended up melting the alloy hub in to a travel flask..lol.

I did outer and inner joints, much heat applied, plastic around melted but eventually after coaxing with a hammer all came out.

Good luck.

jesus much heat needed is an under statement!

they are finally OUT!!! thank god, that was soooo difficult but heat was definately they way to go.

question for all you DW kit people, do you use one large nut and one small or 2 small? ive just fitted them on with 2 large nuts but they toe in to much, i dont suppose it matters if i use the 2 small nut supplied?

Mine had the same problem. but i took them into work and cut about 10mm off of either end.

***Im in no way condoning this ;)
