OMG i thought being at the top of the Eiffel tower was high, but jesus, thats scary lol

Gah that's crazy, i wouldn't want to do that as a job!

omfg  got to be brave to do that or just fookin stupid

There is one around here. but it folds into about 3 parts so its easy access

I was thinking after a while it wouldnt bother you as much cause you wouldnt be able to see as much detail on the ground, but saying that it still would be me unconsious being pulled up not a tool bag :D

id do that as a job as long as i didn't have to climb back down it. going up isn't a problem for me, or being stood on the top on such a small area, but hell id want to base jump off it rather than have to climb down.

Cheerz Chris, that brought back happy memories. Even now I sometimes lay in bed and think of all the stupid things I used to do to earn a shilling. I only worked on one of these once, fitting aircraft warning lights. Peeps often say you must be strapped on with safety harnesess etc.Just your two hands and hooky feet I'm afraid.Long way down to fetch the spanner you just dropped lol.Always carried two of each. Happy Days.

I used to work installing temporary mobile phone masts to test the signal strength for 3G before it came out. A lot of tall buildings have masts on them and i had to work on the top most parts. mainly roof tops and the top of canary wharf.

The weird thing is being that high up in the summer, you get tanned really quickly for some reason.

That made me feel woozy. :bored: They must be on a serious wage for doing that.

Imagine being the person below if you shat yourself lol

what happens if your up there and you get the stomach cramps . you certainly wouldnt take the chance on a ruby the night before.

sweet jesus:shock:..what happens if you need a piss or even worse:w00t:

the only way you would get me up there would be if kylie was leading the way in her gold hot pants . i,d be up there like a rat up a drainpipe with my tool bag at the ready

wow, thats bloody high, does anyone`s balls go funny when watching that?? no!!! really my balls feels like they have butterflies??like a funny tingly feeling?? Am I wierd?

When i used to build chimney stacks ,four storeys up , and needed a pee i used to pee down the chimney ,that was in the center of London, buy the time it was half way down, the walls of the stack soaked it up .never tried a number two LOL

Hes not even clipped on half the time! I used to work with scaffolding - the highest I worked on was the Hudson tower at Telford Homes 'one stratford'. That was 22 storeys high... standing on one board without a handrail isn't fun even with a harness. Massive respect to those guys!

One a side note, anyone ever fallen with a harness one? Not very comfortable is it! We had to test the fitment of ours at my old work.
