I am just amazed at this, on a car website. I'm not a rampant feminist but I dunno, this is just so weird, like you're competing to has the most attractive other half. I'd feel so demeaned if my partner did that to me!

 

We could do a 'Mr 300zx'? Might not be many applicants tho :cool3:

 

I've got a bunch of 20 year old models itching to pose on my car, just need it finished, nice day, nice setting, thinking a bit of sun, sea, and, erm, more sun and sea and a bit of sand knowing my luck, haha... doesn't count as a miss tudor tho, well, wish me luck anyway, maybe next year hehe :)

 

I think it's lovely being proud of your better half and showing them off to the world...

I'll leave it as I'm not gonna get on my soapbox, not on this site it wouldn't even be worth starting, I just don't buy car magazines as they to me are barely concealed w@nk mags most of the time. Just think its out of place on a car club website and I've never come across it on any of ther other sites I use! Find it a strange competition - a monthly show and shine of our cars would be loads better in my humble opinion ;)

 

Its not just a car club website, its almost like a big family here, there is nothing obscene going on, and we know that the banter is just that, banter. i think your reading too much into a bit of fun. as long as the lady's consent (which mine certainly does) i cant see why there should be a problem with it.

 

If you find it offencive, by all means there are other threads more suited for you. this isn't a dig or anything.

We did monthly car competitions and to be honest no one was ever that interested, but as I stated if anyone at all wants the pics removed then I or any mod will do it, I am proud of Isobel and the way she looks and would love to win, Isobel posed for these particular pictures especially for the competition, if it had not rained heavily she would have been stood next to the car and is more than happy for me to post the pictures.

thats fair enough, horse for courses - personal choice, I just prefer to show off my car and keep the rest private. If Marc "showed me off to the world" I'd feel like a chattel or object and that goes against the grain for me.

But as i said, as long as the lady's in question consent then i do not see a problem, there is nothing on here yet that you can not see at a swimming pool or on the beach. and being on the beach there are a lot more people going to be there to look that will visit this website.

My Mrs posted that picture and to be honest its not showing any more than what you would see on the beach or at a swimming pool, if she feels comfortable, then I'm OK with it. as long as she isn't showing anyone whats under that lot and she keeps that for me then i do not see a problem.

We tried that and not many people voted/participated so we dropped it.....

 

No need to justify yourself Jane - I know what you mean about some car mags too......
