sub fan relay missing

my relay for the sub fan is missing.

can another relay be used in this location ?

ive done a search for this but not really turned up any answers . from old posts it does seem like these are missing off a few cars , i was wondering whether there might be a reason / issue for having them removed .

 

if anybody has one of these lying around i would be very gratefull of it .
