life from another planet, little green men, grey aliens with big eye's, whatever conception you have of aliens do you believe in them??

 

they could be tiny organism's to huge monsters hell bent on destruction but i think there has to be life out there, we cant be the only being's

there is also a sound clip intercepted from space that is deemed to be alien message, they call it the "wow" message, scientists have been told not to send another message back incase it is hostile

Ah, right. I've always believed in them too. I used to use the SETI screensaver, where your pc analysed sections of the signal in it's downtime. Never had anything tho'.

Barring some fantasy warp principle the amount of energy to get to the speed of light (or even near it) to get to us is rediculous! The more energy you carry the more mass you have so the more energy you need to propell the additional energy!

 

Also the amount of time to actually accellerate to any speed to allow interstella travel would take several lifetimes! Otherwise you would be alien jam on the back wall of the spaceship! LOL!

True, but just because society becomes more advanced that does not mean that anything is possible! IMO it is extremely unlikely but I stand to be corrected in 30,000 years time :whistling:

we are already looking into wormhole technology as a form of space travel, i know its not stargate but it is a step forward
