I disagree, I think it looks great. My 2nd fav to the 99spec, and much nicer than the dated 89-94 spoiler with ruins the Z's natural lines.

 

Dont listen to anyone else go with what you want, everyone has there own opinions and there are some very dubious tastes on here.

But i have to sale it one day and dont wont to add something to it that may make it look pants...........flipin eck..............the car as it stands looks great.............if you are a younger man then me!.

 

Saw my current car in 2002 when stu [ex member] got it to the current look and i loved it, so much so that i nearly copied it!! but since owning it and after a few lets say negative comments from passers by i feel that i am to old to drive it around due to the look of the car, so i am trying to "tone" it down.

 

Anyways back to surfing the net for alternatives [just in case i shy away from my current idea:wink:]

I never used to like the table top spoiler, but have recently changed my mind and the pic on the Z1 site does look good, I say go with your first choice the table top.

I've just bough PBryants table top for the V8 project - i think it's a really nice spoiler that really suits the car :)

Dont do it, its a horrid spoiler and it does the zed no favors imo. its to flat and looks just stuck on :no:

The other looks like an after thought. They thought hmmm we need to do somthing new to help sell more cars for number plate snobs lol!!!! so they just stuck it on :lol::lol:

Your right it does'nt look as good from that angle.....but I dont agree about the original spoiler....I have always thought that the original looks like an afterthought.

 

It does not follow the lines, it hides them, ruining the shape of the car. Along with the orange indicators its always been the first thing to get ripped off on all my Z's.
