hello, had a quick look, do u take the whole unit out from the front?

 

ive seen a couple of phillips screws in there but thought id ask before i broke anything!

 

im just changing the bulbs!

The scews at the front are for adjusting aim, you dont really want to touch them.

 

You need to remove the side indicators (2 screws) which gives you access to the 3x 10mm nuts at the back of the foglight/sidelight housing. Undo these, to remove the unit from the front to replace the bulbs.

 

The sidelight bulbs are type 501.

I have to do one on mine but the screws just turn so think will have to go under it a a pain but better than breaking anything. have you tried turning screws realisticaly the ligh should come out from front i would guess

just read yowser reply maybe thats why my screws are just turning will have to try going through indicator if not should be able to get bulb out from underneath

What you need to do depends on the year and model of car you have.

Early J spec cars have the side light in the fog unit

Later ones have them in with the indicator unit.

I dont know about UK cars cos I never owned one.

mine is 1994 import, i think it maybe in fog light, i do have a switch for front fogs

simple way to find out......

Switch on side lights... walk to front of car. Check what is lit up.

i wasnt sure when the changeover came. Side lights were not in the fogs on 95 cars
