there are loads of 5x114's about but ive been told to get a et30 offset

but if i found some around et40 anybody fitted these before without problems?

i have a n/a model but have turbo brakes fitted.

cheers

It wont cause problems just mean the wheel is set more inwards. If you want it out the extra 10mm just get a 10mm spacer.

^^ what he said.

In the past I've bought wheels then worried about the offset afterwards lol.

yeah i swear the wheels on my car are around et40 they are o.z cronos old skool ones, and i reckon i could just about get a fag paper in between the caliper and the spokes of the alloy!.

also my wheels sit right in the arch and look stupid!

You need some fat-ass spacers on there

lower the offset (closer to 0) the further the wheel will stick out from the hub. I think an ET15-20 is pretty much on the lip of the front arch IIRC, also for the rears i think its ET30 thats the golden one but i could be mistaken! Im sure there is a Wheel Thread on the forum somewhere

Offset means nothing without the widths :whistling:
