can anyone tell me what year the air con pod changed to allow for directional cooling control . and is the pod and ecu plug and play into a 1990 jap model or do any mods have to be done . do the pods look any different

    The pod and ecu will work in a 1990 jap model. The pod looks the same apart from the seat icon in the bottom of the window, the high button controls where the heat goes, the bottom for the fan speed ( 4 speeds)

    Well worth doing if you can get hold of them.
